PRB (formerly The Pete Rea Band) began life rooted in the grit and swagger of blues-based rock — big riffs, raw energy, and a classic sound. But as the band grew, so did the music. What started as straight-up rock has morphed into something far broader: a restless, alt-rock outfit unafraid to push boundaries and follow songs wherever they want to lead. The new album due out Spring 2026 will demonstrate what that means. 

For PRB, genre is not a limitation. One track might lean into jagged, driving guitars; the next might open up with atmospheric textures, unexpected instrumentation, or a left-field rhythm. The constant is honesty: songs crafted with instinct, not formulas.

This evolution reflects the band’s core belief — that rock music doesn’t need to stay in its lane. PRB embrace experimentation, blending styles and sounds without losing the pulse of what makes a great rock song. PRB has stepped into a space where alternative, indie, and classic influences collide.
